The primary purposes for inbound tourists in 2025 were Religious (48.3%), Leisure (24.1%), and Visiting Friends & Relatives (14.9%).
The number of domestic tourists increased by 8.3% compared to 2024 and the overnight domestic trips has increased by 4.7%. The number of tourists reached its peak in March 2025 with 9.29 million tourists.
